The Pick up Truck

Over the years the pick up truck has drastically evolved. The truck use to be used for farm work and haling big things. Now they can be used for many different things. The 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab is the best on the market today. It is known for its rugged durability, its outstanding pulling and hauling power, and is a big part of the world of rodeo today.
To begin, with the rugged durability is something pick up driver look for is the suspension. It offers a smooth ride and the whole truck is made to be very durably in even the toughest of conditions.
In addition to having all of these capabilities this dodge truck has the Dodge RAM Cummins Turbo Diesel motor. This engine is capable of producing (350 hp at 3,000 rpm, and 650 lb-ft of torque at a stunning 1,500 rpm). The dodge also offers a power wagon addition.  (www.allpar.com)
Finally this particular truck is a big sponsor for the rodeos. The 2011 Dodge Ram was designed for pulling heavy load and for some occasions it is also a luxury ride. A rodeo can be 100s of miles away and comfortably is key. Most of the people that go to rodeos have these big trucks so they know they have enough pulling power to get them and their monstrous trailers down the road.
On the other hand, some people believe this is not the best pickup available because it doesn’t get the very best gas mileage. With this big pick up it is going to be a little harder to maneuver and park. And some might even go as far as to say it is not safe to transport young children.
Obviously, in spite of the fact that doesn’t get the best gas mileage and it is a little big, and that some say it not safe. I still believe this is the top truck of today because of its rugged durability and is outstanding pulling and hauling power and that it is a big part of rodeo world.
